Process Automation without code?

There are often times where you might find yourself repeating the same steps or processes over and over. I want to introduce a few tools this week where you could put those processes or steps on auto pilot.

IFTTT (if this then that)

IFTTT is a free web-based service that allows users to create chains of simple conditional statements, called "applets", which are triggered based on changes to other web services such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.  For example one applet would be press a button to track work hours in Google Drive, or Get an email whenever a new Craigslist post matches your search. There are all kinds of IFTTT applets that could help automate those repetitive task. The good news is he service is free.

Wappwolf automator is more focused on two services, Dropbox and Google Drive. Some actions you can automate are Convert documents to PDF, PDF to Txt, Convert Audio files from one format to another. Several actions to see the full list go here. If you use dropbox or Google drive exclusively this might be the service for you.

Cloud HQ

This is the tool for all the professionals. The app is not available free and the support that you will get from the tool is to integrate all the special web based storage like drop box or drives by a single click. Some of the integrations are the following:

  • Gmail Label Sharing and Collaboration
  • Integrate SalesForce
  • Backup to Amazon S3
  • Integrate to Microsoft One Drive

Next blog we will be going over all of the professional based automation services, Please subscribe to our blog for weekly business tips.
